Acceptable use policy
Send what people expect
Use SMSBulk for messages your recipients asked for or reasonably expect: orders and deliveries, appointments, account alerts, codes, member and school updates, and offers to customers who agreed to receive them.
Never allowed
Phishing or messages that pretend to be another company, bank, government or person; malware links; illegal goods or services; gambling or adult content where it is not lawful; hate, threats or harassment; debt collection threats; and messages to numbers bought or scraped without consent.
Respect stop requests
Add numbers that asked to stop to your do-not-send list. Include your opt-out wording where the destination's rules ask for it; you can save it once in Settings and add it to any campaign.
Volume and timing
Send at reasonable local hours and keep repeated messages to the same person to a sensible pace. Scheduling shows the local and UTC time to help with this.
Enforcement
We may pause campaigns, revoke API keys or close accounts that break this policy, and we cooperate with networks to stop abuse.
